Day 305 of 365 Days of Writing Prompts: Place your character into a story that is not their own.
Erin: “There is something weird about that kid,” Jenifer insisted.
“He’s a little different,” I agreed, but the truth was she was the different one in our world. She didn’t have powers, and we were all hiding them from her. We didn’t know why she was dropped into our world and we didn’t want to risk the consequences of finding out.
Shannon: “Who are you,” the girl with blue hair questioned.
“Raven,” I quickly responded, “I’m new,” I clarified as they all stared.
“Well you better not be expecting a lead role. They’re already taken. If you don’t want to be a background character, you should turn around now,” she warned.
“I don’t mind,” I shook my head. “I just want to be a part of a story again. I miss it,” I shrugged.
We’re not in Kansas anymore.
