Day 344 of 365 Days of Writing Prompts: Pick a flower and base a character off the flower’s meaning.
Shannon: Purple Hydrangea
Since I was young this strong curiosity that doesn’t cease for anyone. Knowing them for face value has never been enough. I need to understand them, like really understand them. I see how complex they are and I know there are reasons for everything they do. They’re all icebergs. I just want to see what’s below the surface.
Erin: Daisy
She was vulnerable, because she didn’t understand she was unique. Other people didn’t love everyone they met. Everyone didn’t believe the people around them were so pure of intentions. She held others in such high regard, never letting it cross her mind that she was on a beautiful level no one else would reach.
Your character is like a flower.
Jacey was feeling down once day, and she found a bouquet in her room one day. There was a note attached to it, “Viburnum for loyalty, orchid for beauty, and lilacs for confidence. You are one of a kind.”
Jacey smiles, as Kara knows just how to make her day.
