303.jpgDay 303 of 365 Days of Writing Prompts: Write about a character working in a haunted house.

Erin: My first day working in the haunted house I was too scary. The first person I approached smacked me square across the face. That’s why the day I started was the day I retired.

Shannon: Is it bad that I like freaking people out? I’m quiet so I’ve always been good at sneaking up on people. Seems like the only place it’s accepted is at haunted houses, so I live for this season. I like to see people laugh after they scream, letting me know they enjoy my humor, instead of getting pissed off.

  1. The first Halloween after Nikki joined the group, she invited them to a haunted house. But she wasn’t there when everyone arrived. They decided to go in without her. They soon learned that she and her aunt helped with running the haunted house.
    Lesson learned: never doubt Nikki’s ability to be scary.
