Shannon: I guess what I like most about this time of year is that everybody eases up a bit. They stop acting like workaholics and get to take a break to enjoy time with their loved ones, and for once everyone understands. No one minds making fashion faux pas, or donating a little extra money and time to help out a neighbor. They hang up lights for everyone else’s benefit. It’s like everyone is under a spell, but a good one.
